Rebuilding Haiti After Hurricane Matthew
Houston, TX, December 1, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Bethel’s Global Reach is currently collecting non-perishable items (i.e., non-perishable foods, water, shoes, clothing, hygiene products, and over counter medications) to assist in the Haiti Relief efforts at The Church at Bethel’s Family, 12660 Sandpiper Drive, Houston, TX 77035.
The items will be dispatched to Haiti over sea via a fifty-foot container. The container is set to sail to Haiti on December 12th and be met by BERT in Haiti.
Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice. Like Slavery and Apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings. Sometimes it falls on a generation to be great. YOU can be that great generation. Let your greatness blossom.

Operation Haiti Relief will provide critical humanitarian assistance and relief supplies to communities in Haiti. All assistance will be directly to those in need of aid through partner churches in the various impacted communities of Haiti. B.E.R.T.’s medical team will work to support the mitigation of cholera and other waterborne diseases, promote safe hygiene practices in high-risk areas, and provide better access to emergency health care at health facilities and temporary shelters, in the aftermath of the storm.
